The episode opens with Yukiko eating lunch in the cafeteria with Tennoji. They have the free time because 1st Unit took charge of the murder case from last episode. Although they're not on the case they still end up discussing it.
The victim of the murder case, Yumi Akimura, was in charge of the 'Celeb Secrets' in the Monday Magazine. In order to gather that information Tennoji had to buy that tabloid magazine. Yukiko makes a joke, asking if he buys them for the sexy models on the covers to which Tennoji asks back, "...You trying to start a fight?" x). Anywho, in pops Kimura to join them as they eat. They start off their conversation about the murder case again and Tennoji leaves the two in order to catch someone from 1st Unit and get more information.
Although Tennoji hates 1st Unit, Yukiko sees it as Tennoji just being worried for them and the suspect. Because of that Kimura laughs and comments that Tennoji is a really nice guy. He also mentions that he thinks Yukiko and Tennoji make a good team. Their constant arguments mean that they have a healthy relationship. Yukiko sees what he means but asks if he ever gets into fights with his coworkers in the lab.
Because he doesn't usually do work unless it's assigned to him, he doesn't have many chances to get into fights with his coworkers. He just does what he's assigned. He does try to make up for it by making himself available in case anyone needs a helping hand and asks for him. Yukiko marvels at his kindness but Kimura is too modest to accept her compliments. And then somehow we get to this conversation...

They don't know how they got on that topic and they laugh about it. Yukiko feels like they just broke the ice and became friends except that she also feels like he's hiding something. Either it's that mysterious side of his or something else, she wants to get to know him better.
The next day 1st Unit comes into the office to tell 2nd Unit that they are now working on the murder case with them. Everyone minus Kyobashi and Tennoji are speechless.
1st Unit wants them to help gather evidence for them. But before that can happen Kirisawa wants a rundown of the current status of the case.
Cue the interrogation room!
Yukiko and Tennoji are watching from outside as 1st unit questions the suspect. The suspect being questioned is Satoru Ishikawa, a close friend of the victim Yumi Akimura and her boyfriend, Yoichi Tomabechi. 1st Unit are being dicks, not giving Satoru Ishikawa a chance to explain himself because they've already labeled him as the culprit. Yukiko senses something is off and convinces 1st Unit to let her use her 'womanly charm' to get something out of the suspect. Her 'womanly charm' excuse is really just an excuse as Yukiko is a professional and 1st Unit falls for it. But before that happens she bumps into Kimura without his glasses
She couldn't recognize who he was until he put his coke bottle glasses back on. He was looking for her because he got the test results of the murder case. Anywho, since she's going to start interrogating Satoru Ishikawa, she tells him to hand over the papers to Tennoji.
In the interrogation room Yukiko kindly greets Ishikawa.With the promise that she'll keep what he says a secret from his friend, Yoichi, he tells her his alibi.

I feel like there was a lot of Tennoji in this episode. More Tennoji than Kimura. Not that it bothers me too much because I like Yukiko's partnership with him. Anywho, just felt like saying that because that's all I've got to comment about xP.
