File 11 Recap

Episode 11 begins with Yukiko in the hallway of the Metro PD building, recalling Kimura's words telling her to not get closer to him.
She stops herself from sighing by refocusing her attention to work.

Scene change!
She's makes it to the 2nd Unit office and greets Eiki Yachigusa. They keep each other up to date on their investigations. Neither of them have anything concrete to go on. Just as they finish talking the 1st Unit stooges walk into the office. They're there to take Yukiko in for questioning regarding the crimes of murder, attempted murder, and delivering death threats.

Scene change!
Yukiko is brought into questioning. She's totally confused and outright tells them that it really wasn't her. But 1st Unit isn't listening. They have evidence against her. Her fingerprints were on the death threat, the letter was mailed from the post office closest to her house, and her card was found at the park stabbing. She continues to tell them that she doesn't know how all of that happened. But there's too many coincidences for them to listen to her.
She's baffled that they seriously suspect her. She has no alibi of the 1st murder because it was committed at 2 or 3 a.m while she was not at a stakeout. Urata, one of the stooges, laughs at her for not having a boyfriend that could possibly clear her name during that time. She just fires back that he doesn't have a girlfriend either. Anywho, the 'questioning' is really just 1st Unit pressuring Yukiko to confess and Yukiko repeatedly stating that she didn't commit the crimes. This goes on for awhile until suddenly the door to the interrogation room slams open to show everyone from 2nd Unit and Kimura.
Kirisawa is pissed. 1st Unit ignored basic procedures that required them to get permission from the head of the unit (him) by questioning Yukiko immediately. Their excuse? Kirisawa wasn't in the office at the time. 2nd Unit and Kimura are surprised to hear that her fingerprints were on the death threats. But unlike 1st Unit, they are able to reach the conclusion that she's been framed. She's moved that they all believe her.
She accidently makes eye contact with Kimura and it looks like he wants to say something but he doesn't.

Scene change!
Yukiko's in the hallway. A couple of days have passed since that last scene but the 1st Unit idiot trio continue to interview her for a few hours everyday. It's the same thing over and over. They try to make her confess and she denies everything. But word about the investigations have traveled throughout the department and workers have started staring at her and whispering behind her back. She's being avoided by the people she used to talk to, even Kimura (but Kimura is avoiding her because for another reason - not because of her being a suspect).
At least 2nd Unit believes her so she puts on a happy face and confidently walks forward.

Scene change!
It's 1 a.m and she finally finishes her reports in the 2nd Unit office. She tells Asano that shes leaving to put some reports in the crime lab's box.

Scene change!
Yukiko takes a peek into the crime lab as she puts her papers in the box.
She greets him and asks him if he's going home. He is. He's about to ask her the same question but stops himself.
He states to her that she has lost weight. She's a bit surprised by his statement and remembers how she hasn't had much of an appetite lately. When Yukiko tries to play it off as her trying to eat healthy he plays along. He says the murder case must be pretty tough on her and she makes a joke of that too. She tells him that she feels like the new office barbie with people always turning around to look at her wherever she goes. Kimura doesn't have much of a reply to that. Anywho, she asks him if Directer Osawa has some connection to the Kawasumi Group. They do. Kimura tells her that they've always had some secret agreement and that he's looking into it so he'll tell her more later. Then she asks him about what he's looking into. Apparently at the moment he's working on something else so her can't tell her. He similes at her and she quietly reminds herself to keep her distance.

End of Episode 10

***Comments***
I love the friendship and loyalty in 2nd Unit. They're always teasing her but they have her back when she needs it. It's very cute.
I don't know how 1st Unit still have a job or how they got hired in the first place >.> I'm guessing there were bribes and corruption.
I really like how Yukiko is handling the accusations and Kimura. She's keeping her head up and trying to keep her distance but it hurts to read that she can only pretend to do so.
