And in chapter 2.2 (soji) you have a 300 hanafuda chechpoint. Then, at 2.6 (if I remember correctly) you need 2 purses to pass another checkpoint.

You can raise your bar only when you run into multiple choices, like in chapter 2-10. On the event description page it's written to use the ritual arrow before chapter 3 ending if you want a happy ending instead of a normal one.

DeleteYup, it is normal for the love meter to still be blank as long as you haven't encountered any choices yet. Since you're at Chapter 2 Episode 8 with a blank love meter, I'm assuming you're playing Soji's or Aoi's route? Once you get to 2.10 (Soji) or 2.9 (Aoi), you should be able to see a change to your love meter.

ReplyDeleteEarlier you commented on wondering whether hanafuda card checkpoints would be like stylish level checkpoints, in that on the second and subsequent routes, you would need more cards than the first time.
The answer is yes. On 2.1 where I needed 300 on the first character I played (I completed Sion first), I now need 1500 for my second route (decided to play Soji next). So, that is pretty steep!
ooo okay, I see! I had a feeling it would be like that x) Hmmm I guess that means I should take out the Hanafuda Card amount requirements in the walkthrough (which I will do tomorrow morning!). Anywho, thank you very much for telling me about it, Jessica ^^ !!

ReplyDeleteI read from the game page itself (the Learn More button) that the Spin Off story will be saved as the Event Story if the player completed a character's ending (Happy and Normal End). Do you (or anyone) know whether this means to complete both Happy and Normal End, or either one can do?

DeleteI've only finished one ending for a character so far and from what I can tell, I'll say that you need to finish both endings in order to have this spin-off saved as an event story. Even though I haven't completed both endings for a single character, when I started my 2nd playthrough I still had to go through checkpoints and use up power. On the other hand, saved or event stories don't make you use power or go through checkpoints.
Maybe someone else who has finished both endings for a single character can correct me or support me but to answer your question with my current knowledge at the moment.... Yes, you will need to obtain both the Happy and Normal End of a single character (before Sept 24 - 6pm).
I hope I made sense. Sometimes I think I ramble x).

You have to get both endings for the story to be saved. They will save them by chapters so in total you will have 6 chapters: 4 of the story and 2 for each ending. You will still be able to make choices when prompted.
DeleteJust wanted to let you know that for Aoi's spinoff the hanafuda requirement for Chapter 5 is also 1200 (instead of 1700?). At least in a first playthrough :)

DeleteAnyone knows how many Ritual Arrows do we need to get the Happy Ending? I'm replaying Sion's story coz I get Normal Ending last time. And I am now at the end of Chapter 3 :)
ReplyDeleteAccording to an earlier commenter, she was able to get the Happy Ending for Soji and Sion without a Ritual Arrow. As long as you get the 2 answer choices right, you should be able to the the Happy Ending ^^.

Yeah, I'm happy that they bring back events for this app too :) I just wish they would start doing that for the other apps. I totally wouldn't mind playing a Christmas event during spring or summer time xP.
