- Oliver kisses Lauren and begs her to forget about him.
- But she can only think 'if only he were Carter.'
- She rejects him.
- Oliver smiles. At least he got to tell her how he feels.
- He asks for one last kiss and she obliges >.>
- The next day Oliver is back to being Lauren's good friend.

- Oliver has information from Andrea to tell her.
- Henry's uncle is challenging him for the right to the throne by using his connections with the media to slander Henry.
- Carter is indeed Henry's aide but at the moment he is working under Henry's uncle.
- Carter is getting the blame for trying to interfere with Henry's ascension to the throne (instead of Henry's uncle).
- Carter has been together with Henry for twenty years. They have a special bond.
- Lauren gets a phone call from Ryan. He tells her that Carter is at his workplace (Ryan is a bartender at a hotel).
8.3
- Ryan relays a fishy conversation he overheard from Carter to her.
- Carter was meeting with Henry's uncle.
- Oliver takes the phone from Lauren and tells Ryan that he will be coming over with Lauren.
- Oliver wants to get to the bottom of things for Lauren but all she can think about is her dream with Carter where he told her to not ask any questions.
- Oliver tells her that she can get herself involved without asking why. (good point Oliver)
- She agrees in the end but worries that Henry's uncle will notice her.
- Oliver has an idea.
8.4 (Normal)
- They arrive at the bar.
- Her disguise is a dress....a dress >.>
- Oliver and Lauren are disguised as a couple.
- Ryan sits them close enough to Carter and Henry's uncle to overhear their conversation.
- Henry's uncle tells Carter to capture the old leopard for him.
- Carter assure him he will.
- The uncle changes his mind. He wants Carter to kills the leopard and make it look like an accident.
- This upsets Lauren and she stands up, blowing their cover.
- The uncle recognizes her immediately.
- Carter punches the uncle's guard to stop him from approaching Lauren. (smooth)
8.5
- Andrea, Henry, and Nathaniel (Mr. C) show up.
- Andrea there taking pictures.
- Henry explains to a confused Lauren that he gave Carter a secret mission to take him (Henry) down.
- Henry confronts his uncle about treason.
- The royal family's secret police take his uncle away to be questioned.
- Carter approaches Lauren, upset that she didn't trust him and put herself in harm's way.
- She repeats what Oliver had told her before - that Carter didn't tell her not to get involved. Oliver cheers on the sidelines xP.
- Carter embraces her. They argue a bit about how they wanted to protect each other.
- She returns his embrace.
8.6
- Carter and Lauren suddenly remember that they're in front of the others (Oliver, Andrea, Henrik, Nathaniel).
- Lauren leaves with Carter and Henry to the palace. She got her job back as the royal family leopard's caretaker.
- She tells Timo that she's back to being the caretaker again.
8.7
- It's the next morning.
- The leopard won't be moved to the laboratory.
- Carter enters as Timo is about to leave.
- Timo praises Lauren as a researcher.
- Several days later Henry's uncle is arrested for trying to overthrow the royal family.
- The news start to praise Carter as a hero.
- Carter hands Henry his speech.
8.8
- Lauren asks why Henry wanted Carter to change.
- Henry wanted Carter to live freely and not bound to the royal family like he is.
- Lauren doubts that Carter needs to be free in the way Henry imagines because he is already free working hard for Henry. Carter cares for Henry.
- Several days later Lauren checks on the leopard.
- At first it appears the leopard is sleeping but it's not.
- She hurries to knock on Carter's door.
