[Recap] Love Academy Yaoi Story ~ Chapter 4

Chapter Four begins with Jun sighing to himself in the corner of a classroom. Takumi comes over to tell his little brother that happiness will slip away from him if he sighs. Takumi able to correctly guess that something is up between him and Dr. Kanzaki because Jun doesn't usually approach someone on this own. Jun wants to know more about Dr. Kanzaki so he asks his brother. But the only new knowledge on Dr. Kanzaki that he can bestow on Jun is that he was a very good surgeon with an abundant amount of medical knowledge.

Takumi goes on the further say that Dr. Kanzaki is a kind and considerate person. Jun on the other hand disagrees because in his mind  Dr. Kanzaki is just the opposite. He's still hurt/mad about him treating him like a child. Takumi laughs at Jun's reason and tells him that he probably didn't do it on purpose. He plays with his little brother's hair and tells him to look at the situation again from the perspective of a decent young man like he wants to be. Jun notes the difference of feeling that Takumi's hand gives him in comparison to Dr. Kanzaki. He wishes to one day be like his older brother so that Dr. Kanzaki wouldn't treat him as a child anymore.

Suddenly the classroom door is opened with great strength by the man they had been discussing, Dr. Kanzaki. He asks Takumi if he could be left alone with Jun to talk about the script. He really just wants to apologize to Jun about hurting his feelings the other day. But Jun reflects with an "I'm sorry" as well. Thankfully Dr. Kanzaki accepts so the subject can be dropped. He asks Jun why he thinks that Selinuntius is willing to wait for Melos. Jun is surprised by such a question but he answers that it's because Melos is Selinuntius' only true friend that he trusts.

Jun's answer doesn't set completely well with him. Dr. Kanzaki questions the ability of anyone to trust another fully, especially if there are people who can't trust themselves. Jun notices the fear in Dr. Kanzaki's expression and wonders what might have happened in his past for him to have such a belief. But like in any story, one hides their pain. Dr. Kanzaki quickly smiles and asks for Jun to write the script from the perspective of Selinuntius waiting for Melos.

It's what Dr. Kanzaki wants so Jun tells him with a smile that he'll give it a try.

Selinuntius is in prison and refusing any food that the Tyrant offers him. Accepting his dinner would be like surrendering the very justice that Melos stood for. The Tyrant calls him a fool for believing in Melos' word. The Tyrant believes that the most important thing for a man is his life. It's Selinuntius' turn to mock him. He calls the Tyrant pathetic and that his belief is what makes him a tyrant.

The Tyrant starts to choke Selinuntius. Selinuntius is a fifthly peasant that knows nothing about him or the world. He can't wait for when Melos betrays his friend and has to die with nothing but tremendous pain and his naive beliefs in front of everyone. When the Tyrant is satisfied he lets go of Selinuntius, letting him know that there is no escape for him.
Meanwhile, after running night and day, Melos makes it to his sister's village.

Melos bought a wedding dress for his sister to wear at the ceremony the next day. They have the wedding the ceremony and Melos tells him of his plan to depart into the city after a nice sleep. He tells his sister not to worry about being alone because now she's married with a husband. Sister and brother-in-law nod in agreement but when Melos wakes up their minds have changed. They heard about Melos' death punishment and beg him not to go. If Selinuntius were really a good friend then he would gladly take Melo's punishment in order to save his life.

While the same thing could be said about Melos, he can't help but consider her words. Confused, he wonders what to do.
