Shall we Date? Destiny Ninja ~ Hyuga Chapter 7 Main Story Recap

Chapter Seven starts with Yoshitsune's army having chased the Taira Clan to the west to start a battle in Ichinotani.
Yorimoto's highest ranking retainer, Kagetoki Kajiwara, has joined them and has been opposing everything that Yoshitsune does. Kagetoki is impatient and is not fond of Yoshitsune for becoming a general at such a young age. He's calling Yoshitsune a fake, that he's taking all the credit for the victories, even though Yoshitsune really did achieve such feats. Enya's pissed that anyone has insulted his precious Yoshitsune and Yoshitsune thanks him for getting angry for him. The battle continues on, however, and it stays as a stalemate for many days. their army, the Minamoto army because the Taira Clan have the advantage of being familiar with the area. The hated Kagetoki only makes things worse with his appears when he enters the room. He's come to rant and complain about Yoshitsune. He wants to attack from behind but behind the Taira Clan is the Ichinotani cliff. After he's done complaining he retires off somewhere leaving nothing of value to them. ~~
We're back to our heroine heading towards the stables to feed the useful horses when Hyosuke runs up her in order to carry the pails for her. They tend to the horses at the stables together when Hyosuke brings up the subject of women. He's not gay but women from his village bore him because unlike her, all they care about is how they look.

He smiles as he acknowledges out loud again that they act like siblings. Our heroine looks out at the precipice known as Ichinotani and points out the deers and monkeys to Hyosuke. They're having a good time together until Hyuga shows up. When Hyosuke tells him what she was pointing at Hyuga mocks herand grinds both of his fists into her head.

The difference in attitude...

Yoshitsune appears and Hyuga turns into a good boy in an instant. Hyosuke calls him out on it with Yoshitsune in front of them but Hyuga points Yoshitsune into the direction of the valley that our heroine found. While Yoshitsune is turned Hyuga gives a swift kick to Hyosuke's leg. Seeing the valley with the deer and monkeys living in it Yoshitsune gets an idea. He turns around to embrace our heroine much to everyone's surprise. He realizes that with an army full of the finest ninjas and horses, he can prepare a surprise attack on Ichinotani. The day comes for the battle and they have the main army attack front with a small troop of cavalry hiding in the valley. Our heroine watches the battle from the window of a secret house she is hiding in. They push the Taira soldier back and they win the battle. She gets a stabbing pain at that moment, thinking she'll finally regain her memories but she doesn't. The next day they celebrate their victory with a small banquet.

Yoshitsune gives a speech to everyone, thanking them for their efforts for a better world and while that gets him nods in agreement, Hyuga is emotionless as usual. Yoshitsune inquires about our heroine's head, whether or not the medicine she received had succeed in relieving her pain and for her to take a rest. She relies that yes, the medicine had worked. Hyosuke offers to carry her to her room if she's tired and he's happy when Yoshitsune also thinks he and the heroine are like siblings. This gets Enya into the conversation to question whether or not Hyosuke is a virgin because in his mind, no nonvirgin would be happy being called a lady's brother. The argument between the two get a little bit too loud for our heroine and she gets up to settle in between the calmer Kazemasa and Hyuga. Kazemasa offers her some liquor which she declines but their hands brush against each other and he turns bright red. He drowns his liquor in one go but starts coughing. Our heroine is worried and starts patting his back. Hyuga starts to tell her,

She's dense and is surprised at the news that Kazemasa is interested in her. Hyuga gets up and tells the two to get along and just as he leaves Enya takes his seat. Enya forces a drink on our heroine and she's gets instantly drunk. She excuses herself and stumbles into the garden where notices Hyuga there under a tree and gazing up at the moon. He tells her to back to the celebration. It's the perfect opportunity for her to go and find a husband. But she finds that he's still being mean to her. She asks him why he's always so mean to her. Does he hate her? She starts crying and Hyuga cups her face while asking her if she was drunk. As he cups her face she notices his eyes darting over the places. He let's go to head to the baths but she catches onto his sleeve. He tells he this,

and ultimately turns away again to leave her in her tears. But at the next moment he's already back with her, protecting her from oncoming arrows. The arrows are sticking out of his back and the perpetrators get away. She clings onto him as he brushes back her hair with shaky hands and tells her to don't die. [cue heroine screaming his name].
